Compost Results
As we build them and the thermophilic bacteria get to work, our compost piles increase in temperature, getting over 131°F: high enough to kill all potential human pathogens.

Then, each pile sits for a year as those thermophilic bacteria continue to eat the contents and slowly break the pile down into compost.
​
When a pile comes of age - around a year - we send samples off for testing.
