Kuiper Curtis Takes the TEDx Stage

We're incredibly proud to share that our Project Coordinator, Kuiper Curtis, gave a TEDxGrandJunction talk about Toilet Equity and the power of making overlooked problems impossible to ignore.

In "Making Toilet Equity Impossible to Ignore," Kuiper explores why something as ordinary as a toilet can have such an extraordinary impact on human dignity, public health, and the environment. Drawing from their experiences maintaining our composting toilets and working alongside community members every day, Kuiper challenges us to rethink who public spaces are designed for, and what happens when something as basic as a safe place to use the bathroom is missing.

This talk represents more than just our organization. It's part of a growing conversation about equitable sanitation, environmental stewardship, and creating communities where everyone has access to life's basic necessities.

We're so grateful to Kuiper for sharing their voice and their passion on the TEDx stage.

If this talk resonates with you, we'd love for you to share it with a friend. The more people who understand why toilet access matters, the closer we get to building healthier communities for everyone.
